CPIC Record / Name Check: $35.00 This service is to simply see whether or not a Criminal Record appears on CPIC. However, it does not provide any details about any criminal offences. Book an Appointment Online

Port of Entry Parole (for emergency travel into the U.S.): $252.00 Note: This permit is for clients who are applying for a Standard US Entry Waiver, and who need to enter the United States for emergency medical treatment or to attend a funeral for an immediate family member. Please call our office or see our Waiver FAQ section (10 & 14) if you are unsure if you are eligible to receive such a permit.

**File Destruction Services: $252.00 per file

**NOTE: Normally this service is to destroy a CPIC record and/or Police Records showing a Conditional Discharge, or Stayed, Dismissed or Withdrawn charges, as long as no other convictions appear on CPIC or Local Police Records. Police File Destruction may also be required before or after being granted a Standard Canadian Pardon, in order to destroy local police records, which could possibly be hacked into by foreign federal government agencies in the future. Note: File Destruction for convictions are usually only granted after 10 years or more have passed without any further charges, investigations or convictions, and if you have multiple convictions or an Indictable conviction the police like to see at least 15 years of crime-free activity. Other reasons to obtain this service is to destroy a CPIC record after the death of a convicted person. Note: If we need to also do a Privacy Act Information Request there will be another $252.00 charge.

Additional or Other Administration Fees: $63.00. This fee is charged for additional and unforeseen administration fees, which are not included in our regular Pardon and/or Waiver application processing. Your application processor will explain such fees when applicable, which are billed at $63.00 per hour. (2 hour minimum may apply for non Pardon or Waiver clients)

Three common reasons for this fee are: 1) When a Waiver applicant fails to submit their Waiver application to U.S. Customs, and their Waiver forms expire and have to be redone. For this service there is a $189.00 fee. Note: There may also be a $70.00 fee to take another set of biometric fingerprints, in order to receive a new Certified Record from the Ottawa RCMP. 2) When a "serious offender" Pardon applicant requires our services to review, edit, rewrite or polish Reference Letters and/or a Personal Letter to the PBC, as is now required by law. 3) When an applicant receives a Proposal to Deny letter from the Parole Board and they need extra help in assembling and editing documents.

Additional Court, Police or Military Record Searches: $63.00. Additional Court Record Search fees apply to applicants who have received multiple offences in different locations where fines were imposed within the last 15 years. (This will be verified after we receive your Certified Record from the Ottawa RCMP).

Additional Local Police Record Search fees apply (for Pardon Applications) where the applicant has lived in more than one city/town in the last five years. Local Police Files are also required for U.S. Waivers when requested by Homeland Security's ARO.

Note: A fee of $63.00 is required for each city to complete a Local Police Records Search. If an applicant fails to provide a Local Police Record Search for every city they have lived in, the Parole Board may deny a pardon if the applicant was suspected of any criminal offence(s) in other cities. If you have worked in other cities but maintained an address elsewhere you will be required to do a Local Police Records Search only if you were involved with the police in other cities and where the police recorded your address as being in that city.

If you are an active member or reserve member of the Canadian Armed Forces and you are applying for a Pardon, an additional fee of $63.00 will be charged to obtain a copy of your military records, which are required by the Parole Board.

Privacy Act Request: $252.00. Privacy Act Requests are needed in order to obtain copies of all the information the arresting police detachment(s) has retained in their files. If you do not have detailed information regarding the offence(s) we may need to make a Privacy Act Request in order to get the information. Common reasons to obtain this service are to obtain the proof of age of a victim of Sexual Assault. Another reason is to gather police information and then make a formal request to have the information destroyed. It can also help when convictions are not put on CPIC and the information is needed in order to obtain a Canada Pardon or a US Waiver. Privacy Act Requests are $252.00 per police file. This means if you were arrested and charged by 2 different police agencies the fee will be $504.00.

US Entry Waiver Renewal (only for past Alberta Pardons clients) $467.25. This is only for past Alberta Pardons clients who are now renewing their US Waiver through our office. If you obtained a Waiver on your own or through another company in the past then you are required to pay the standard fee of $519.75, plus a fingerprinting fee.
